Scholarship Meeting With H.O.D
Written by panini
Thursday, 25 December 2008

Hi everyone. Ideas, however noble, are useless until they are implemented and are brought to completion. so congratulations to all those  who initiated, contributed and executed this noble gesture from our batch. The idea which germinated  a year ago has now started to bear fruits.

Here are some of the points from my visit to mahindra and our meeting with HOD.

1) The scholarship amount is Rs 8000 per awardee. There will be three awardees each year.

2) Based on their academic performance in their first, second and third year. The awards will be given to them in their second third and final year respectively.  No awards to the freshmen class, Since there is no yardstick except  EAMCET rank to measure their academic performance.

3) Eventhough acedemic performance can be ranked easily, it is very difficult to put a rank or deduce exactly who is the  most deserving candidate based on their economic situations as it is not an exact science.
